Abengoa obtains the COVID-19 Certificate

It is awarded by Mutual de Seguridad to those companies that comply with all the protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

May 5, 2021 - Abengoa, the international company that applies innovative technology solutions for sustainability in the infrastructure, energy and water sectors, has obtained the so-called COVID-19 Certificate, granted by Mutual de Seguridad of the Chilean Chamber of Construction to those companies that comply with all the measures required against COVID-19.

This recognition by the Mutual de Seguridad, the entity in charge of ensuring compliance with the risk prevention and occupational health measures in the member companies, shows 100% compliance with the recommended and required protocols both by the Ministry of Health of Chile and the Chilean Chamber of Construction regarding the measures to be adopted in the workplace to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

At Abengoa Chile, the following works were awarded:

MAPA project, located in the Bío-Bío region.
Maintenance of Lines 6 and 3 of the Santiago Metro.
Detail engineering, supply and construction of 23 kV, 6.9 kV and 4.16 kV distribution lines.
Construction of the electrical substations for the second phase of the Quebrada Blanca mine in Chile.

This achievement highlights Abengoa's interest and concern in taking all the necessary measures to safeguard the safety and health of its employees in the Chilean country, where it has been present for more than 30 years developing relevant electrical and electromechanical assembly projects.
