These recognitions aim to highlight the efforts, commitments and innovations of those CPHS that have optimized their management based on Mutual requirements and applicable legislation to promote occupational health and safety.
There are three categories of these certifications (bronze, silver and gold). Abengoa's central office in Chile has obtained the silver category, while the QB Lines contract has obtained the gold category, the latter being the highest and most important.
The requirements demanded by each category are:
Level 1 - Bronze Category: corresponds to those CPHS that comply with the legal provisions and minimum regulations of constitution and work of the committee.
Level 2 - Silver Category: in this category are those CPHS that improve management by engaging the different levels of the organization in the necessary orientation and strengthening of actions to control the causes of accidents and occupational diseases.
Level 3 - Gold Category: are those CPHS that implement actions that improve significantly by having the mechanisms for the adoption of preventive and corrective measures based on the results obtained in the previously defined evaluation, in order to introduce the improvements required by the System of Occupational Health and Safety Management.
Obtaining this type of recognition in terms of health and safety reinforces Abengoa's commitment to the company's internal and external environment.
The CPHS carries out practical activity in the field, reinforcing the correct washing of hands in the field as established by the WHO
